The nursery is open from 7:30am to 6pm Monday to Friday. We are closed for one week at Christmas time and closed at weekends and all bank holidays.

We have a three tiered pricing system depending on the age of your child. This is due the to higher staff ratios needed for younger children, the space needed per child as well as the additional supplies needed for their care including nappies and washing materials. Our minimum attendance is 2 days a week.

We offer a 15% sibling discount when you have more than one child with us at a time.

We also offer a package for all parents who are teachers. This package consists of a 10% discount and a break in fees over the month of August

Our fees increase every September in line with inflation. Any fee increases are published on the website 1 month before implementation.

15/30 hours government funding

The government offers 15/30 hours funding for under 2’s (9-24 months), 2 year olds (24-36 months) and 3-4 year olds (36- 60 Months).

The funding is offered for 38 weeks of the year. This is split over three terms. 14 weeks in the Autumn Term (Sept-Dec). 12 Weeks in the Spring Term (Jan- March) and 14 weeks in the Summer Term.

This funding only covers basic care and does not cover the following; non-consumables (nappies, wipes, sunscreen, toothpaste etc.), Food costs (breakfast, lunch and tea) and extracurriculars costs (tennis, yoga, dance, drama, music, sport, forest school and intergenerational learning).

All additional packages are included in the funded prices above. If you want these additional services included in your package then you must agree to our additional package services. The cost of these packages vary depending on which rate you are on and only cover the difference between the funded hourly rate and Greenwood’s hourly rate. If you choose this option, your funding will be spread across 51 weeks rather than 38 weeks. Therefore, if you are eligible for 30 hours funding this equates to 22.4 hours per week. If you are eligible for 15 hours funding, this equates to 11.2 hours per week.

If you only agree to the basic rate then you will NOT have access to the extracurricular activities & non-consumables (listed above) and you will need to bring your own food into school and MUST comply with our Packed Lunch/Tea Policy. Any additional days you want to take after your 38 weeks are charged at the normal rate.

If you agree to the basic rate and don’t attend outside funded weeks your place WILL be secure for all 38 weeks of term-time.
